Soak the day away in the healing hot springs of Hakuba Valley. Relax in the open-air baths while taking in the snowy
landscapes and majestic mountain views. Let the cool winter breeze and soothing warm waters rejuvenate your mind
and body. The Omachi area offers a wide variety of hot springs across Takase Valley, the Omachi Onsenkyo area, and the
neighborhood surrounding Lake Kizaki. The Hakuba area boasts an abundance of restorative baths and footbaths sourced
by six different springs. In Otari, experience everything from luxurious hotel spas to secluded hot springs nestled deep in
the mountains.

Getting to Hakuba Valley

With non-stop flights between Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita International airports and major cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, New York and Vancouver, as well as from Australia, it’s never been easier for Epic Pass holders to take a Japanese ski vacation. Take a ride on Japan’s Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to access Hakuba Valley in under three hours.

Bring your Epic Pass media card and a valid photo ID to Hakuba Valley. When you arrive, present your Epic Pass or Epic Local at any Hakuba Valley ticket window to receive your five consecutive, complimentary lift tickets.

Does my Epic Pass include benefits at Hakuba Valley?

EpicEpic Local and Epic Australia Pass Holders receive five complimentary and consecutive days of skiing and riding at Hakuba Valley resorts. Epic Day Passes do not include access to Hakuba Valley resorts at this time.

How do Epic Pass Holders redeem benefits at Hakuba Valley?

Epic Pass Holders must present their valid season pass card at a Hakuba Valley ticket window to validate access and receive a personalized pass card.

 

Is there a hotel or lodging requirement to receive benefits at Hakuba Valley?

No. There is no lodging requirement to receive your five complimentary days of skiing and riding at Hakuba Valley.

 

Do I need to bring my Epic Pass pass card with me to Hakuba Valley?

Yes. Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, and Epic Australia Pass Holders are required to present their valid pass card and a valid photo ID to the lift cashier at one of Hakuba Valley's 10 resorts to redeem their five-day lift ticket.

 

Do Hakuba Valley Pass Holders receive benefits at Vail Resorts?

Hakuba Valley All-Mountain Season Pass Holders and individual Hakuba Valley Resort Pass Holders are eligible to receive 50% off the current one-day window lift ticket prices at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

I forgot, lost or did not receive my season pass media card. Can I have one printed at the partner resort?

No. Vail Resorts season passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort, with the exception of Telluride.

Mobile Pass on the My Epic App will not work at Telluride; please bring your plastic media card. If necessary, Epic Pass Holders may print or reprint their Epic Pass season pass card at one of two convenient locations while visiting Telluride:

Does Epic Day Pass include access to Partner resorts?

Pass Holders with Epic 4-Day, 5-Day, 6-Day and 7-Day Passes with All Resorts Access have access to Telluride in Colorado and the six (6) Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. Access to European and Japanese partner resorts is not currently included on any Epic Day Pass product.

All Epic 1-3 Day Passes and Epic 4-7 Day Passes with Limited Access (32 or 22 resorts) do not include access to any partner resorts. Holiday restrictions also apply at partner resorts.

 

Does my Military Pass include partner access?

No. Military Pass Holders do not currently receive receive access to our partner resorts.
