Getting to Telluride
When traveling to Telluride, be sure to check out the flight options into Montrose (MTJ) or our new direct flights right into Telluride (TEX). Montrose is about a 70 minute car ride and the Telluride airport is 15 minutes from Telluride or Mountain Village. Telluride is home to a free gondola transportation system that connects the two towns, so there is no need for a rental car.. Shuttles from the airport are strongly recommended.

Does my Epic Pass include benefits at Telluride?
Epic Pass Holders, Epic Adaptive Pass Holders, and guests with Epic 4-7 Day Passes receive up to seven complimentary days of skiing and riding at Telluride Ski Resort. Epic Adaptive 5-Day Pass Holders receive up to five complimentary days of skiing and riding at Telluride Ski Resort. The days do not have to be used consecutively. Upon redemption of all included days, Epic Pass Holders can purchase discounted lift tickets at 20-50% off the window price.
Vail Resorts Lifetime Pass Holders also receive seven complimentary and unrestricted days of skiing and riding at Telluride, and can purchase discounted lift tickets at 20% off the window price for any additional days purchased at Telluride after using the seven included unrestricted days. Employee Lifetime Pass Holders should refer back to HR for information about benefits.
Days skied at Telluride are considered part of the total purchased days for Epic Day Pass Holders (i.e., an Epic 4-Day Pass Holder who skied three days at Breckenridge will only have one day available to ski at Telluride). Restricted peak dates apply across all Telluride resorts for Epic Day Pass products with holiday restrictions.
Epic Local and Epic 1-3 Day Pass Holders do not include access to Telluride at this time.

How do Epic Pass Holders redeem benefits at Telluride?
Pass Holders who have a valid season pass card and have completed their Vail Resorts Release of Liability can go direct-to-lift at Telluride. There is no need to check in or print tickets at a Telluride ticket window.
1. Place your Pass card or Lift Ticket in a zippered pocket. Mobile Pass on the My Epic App will not work at Telluride; please bring your plastic media card.
2. Keep it on the left side of your body away from your keys, phone, wallet and other cards.
3. Only carry your own Pass card or Lift Ticket (Family members and friends must carry their own).
4. Guest Services will scan your Pass card or Lift Ticket for access, without having to take it out.
Don’t have your Pass? Make sure you’ve uploaded a photo and signed your Release of Liability in your Epic Account.
Is there a hotel or lodging requirement to receive benefits at Telluride?
No. There is no lodging requirement to receive your complimentary skiing and riding benefit at Telluride.
Do I need to bring my Epic Pass pass card with me to Telluride?
Yes. Epic Pass Holders are required to present their valid season pass card at a Telluride ticket window in order to redeem their complimentary days. Mobile Pass on the My Epic App will not work at Telluride; please bring your plastic media card.

No. Vail Resorts season passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort, with the exception of Telluride.

Does Epic Day Pass include access to Partner resorts?
Pass Holders with Epic 4-Day, 5-Day, 6-Day and 7-Day Passes with All Resorts Access have access to Telluride in Colorado and the six (6) Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. Access to European and Japanese partner resorts is not currently included on any Epic Day Pass product.
All Epic 1-3 Day Passes and Epic 4-7 Day Passes with Limited Access (32 or 22 resorts) do not include access to any partner resorts. Holiday restrictions also apply at partner resorts.
Does my Military Pass include partner access?
No. Military Pass Holders do not currently receive receive access to our partner resorts.
HOW WILL THE RESERVATION SYSTEM WORK?
How do I make a reservation? Do I have to make a reservation to use my Pass?
Reservations are required to ski or ride at Telluride beginning in the 23/24 season. Eligible Pass Holders can visit the Telluride Reservations page or book directly in My Account to make, view or manage reservations.
When can I start making reservations at Telluride for the upcoming winter season?
Pass Holders can make reservations starting August 15 for the 23/24 ski and ride season. Guests who purchase a new Pass or upgrade their Pass will be able to access the reservation system within 24 hours of doing so. If you wish to book a reservation immediately after purchasing a Pass or upgrading, please visit the Epic Pass Customer Service team at the Telluride Mountain Village ticket office.
How many days can I reserve at once at Telluride?
You can reserve up to 7 days at a time. Please review your specific access by Pass type below:
- Epic Pass and Epic Adaptive Pass Holders: 7 days
- Vail Resorts Lifetime Pass, Epic Club Pass (Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek, Arrabelle and Vail Mountain Club) and Epic Merchant Pass Holders: 7 days
- Epic 4-7 Day Pass Holders with All Resort Access: Up to 4-7 Days
- Epic Adaptive 5-Day Pass Holders (Unrestricted with All Resort Access): Up to 5 days
Guests with an Epic Day Pass or an Epic Adaptive 5-Day Pass can use any of their included days at Telluride. For example, an Epic 4-Day Pass Holder who uses 3 days at Breckenridge can reserve 1 day at Telluride.
Will I be able to make a same-day or day-of reservation?
Yes, you will be able to make same-day and day-of reservations via My Account or the Telluride Reservations page. You may also complete your reservation by calling Guest Services at (970) 754-0005 or visiting the Epic Pass Customer Service team at the Mountain Village ticket office in Heritage Plaza located beneath the gondola in Mountain Village, or the Oak Street ticket office in Telluride, located at the Gondola Station Telluride.
Please allow 15 minutes for same-day reservations to reflect in your account and your access at Telluride to be activated.
Is there a fee to make a reservation?
No. There is no fee to make a reservation at Telluride.
Will reservations at Telluride be required every day?
Yes, the reservation system will be required for the entirety of the 23/24 winter season, starting with Telluride’s opening day through closing day.
What happens once I make a reservation?
Once a guest makes a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with relevant information on your reservation.
Do any of the other resorts on the Epic Pass require a reservation?
No reservations will be required at any resort on the Epic Pass, except Telluride.
Will I be able to get a reservation at Telluride for the days I wish to ski or ride?
Telluride anticipates it will be able to accommodate eligible Pass Holder reservations for those wishing to ski or ride throughout the 2023/24 winter season. However, Pass Holders should plan to book their reservation days in advance.
MANAGING RESERVATIONS
How do I view, change or cancel an existing reservation?
Once you are logged into My Account, navigate to the "Passes" section where you can view and cancel existing reservations. To change a reservation, you will need to cancel the date you no longer wish to reserve and make a new reservation.
Can I make reservations for other Epic Pass Holders?
Yes, Pass Holders are able to make reservations for household members with eligible Passes in My Account.
What if I don’t ski or there’s a resort closure on the day of my reservation?
If you make a reservation and are no longer able to ski or ride on that day, we ask that you cancel your reservation in advance to allow another guest to book. We reserve the right to restrict the ability of the Pass Holder to make future reservations if the reservation system is being abused or manipulated in any way.
If the resort is closed and you are unable to ski, your reservation will not be deducted from your total ski days available, and you will be able to make a new reservation.
ACCESS AND BENEFITS
Does my access and benefits at Telluride change with the reservation requirement?
The reservation system will not change Epic Pass Holder access and benefits at Telluride. Epic Pass, Epic 4-7 Day Pass (with All Resort Access) and Epic Adaptive Pass Holders will continue to have access to Telluride included with their Pass.
- Epic Pass and Epic Adaptive Pass Holders will continue to have seven days of skiing and riding at Telluride with no holiday restricted dates.
- Epic 4-Day, 5-Day, 6-Day or 7-Day Pass Holders with All Resort Access also have access to Telluride. Restricted peak days apply at Telluride for all passes purchased without access on peak dates. Epic Adaptive 5-Day Pass Holders (Unrestricted with All Resort Access) also have Telluride access.
- Telluride Season Pass Holders and Telluride Ski & Golf Club Members with full winter benefits will receive 50% off lift tickets at all Vail Resorts owned mountain resorts.
What if I use all of my included days at Telluride? Can I purchase additional days?
Once you’ve used all of Telluride days included with your Pass, Pass Holders can purchase additional discounted lift tickets at Telluride. See below for discount by Pass type:
- Epic Pass and the Epic Adaptive Pass Holders: Up to 50% off the daily window lift ticket rate at Telluride. These benefits also apply to Vail Resorts Lifetime Passes, Epic Club Passes (Bachelor Gulch, Beaver Creek, Arrabelle and Vail Mountain Club) and Epic Merchant Passes.
- Epic 4-7 Day Pass Holders with All Resort Access: Up to 20% off additional lift tickets at Telluride.

Can I use My Epic Mobile Pass at Telluride?
The My Epic app and Mobile Pass will not be supported at Telluride. Pass Holders must bring their physical Pass media card when they visit Telluride. If you arrive at Telluride and do not have a physical media card, you are able to have a media printed at two locations: the Mountain Village ticket office in Heritage Plaza located beneath the gondola in Mountain Village, or the Oak Street ticket office in Telluride, located at the Gondola Station Telluride.
What do I need to bring to the resort on the day of my reservation?
You must bring your Epic Pass media card for Direct-to-lift access at Telluride on the day of your reservation.
Can I use my Buddy or Ski-With-A-Friend tickets at Telluride?
No. Buddy or Ski-With-A-Friend tickets cannot be redeemed at Telluride.
ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS
How many Epic Pass Holders will be allowed to visit Telluride on a given day?
Telluride anticipates it will be able to accommodate eligible Pass Holder reservations for those wishing to ski or ride on all days throughout the 2023/24 winter season. Availability of reservations at Telluride will be visible for each day of the season in the reservation system.
Will I be able to look at available Telluride reservations before I purchase a Pass?
No, only guests with an eligible Pass can access and view available reservations for Telluride. Telluride does anticipate it will be able to accommodate eligible Pass Holder reservations for those wishing to ski or ride on all days throughout the 2023/24 winter season.
Do I need to make all reservations at the beginning of the season or at one time?
Guests will be able to make reservations starting August 15th, 2023 or throughout the season as you plan your trip. If you know your dates in advance, we recommend reserving those days as early as you can.
What if I am unable to reserve the days I want at Telluride? Will I get a refund?
You will not be eligible for a refund under Epic Coverage due to an inability to access Telluride Resort. Epic Coverage does not provide refunds related to any Partner Resorts or in connection with any matters concerning Partner Resorts. Passes provide access to the best mountain resorts, at a discount versus lift tickets, and are non-refundable.
I bought multiple Season Pass products, how many days do I have access to Telluride?
All Pass Holders are limited to reserve up to 7 total days of skiing or riding at Telluride. Multiple Passes cannot be used to exceed 7 reservations at Telluride during one season. For example, a guest cannot pair an Epic 4-Day Pass with an Epic 6-Day Pass for 10 days of access at Telluride; the guest would be limited to 7 reservations max.
Is it possible to reserve half days?
No. Reservations can only be made for full-day access.
